We encourage children to speak and listen to others in small and large groups. We value our circle times where children are able to build up their confidence in speaking, listening and understanding. We aim to provide a rich language environment so that children can learn new vocabulary and develop their confidence to speak and listen in a range of situations. We have communication and language activities each day using a range of different ideas from speaking in small groups, listening to sounds and stories, singing rhymes, playing and listening to different sounds instruments make.
